Guidelines after Total Hip Replacement

Your Hip Replacement surgery is over and now you are on the road to recovery. Please be patient.

Each day you will improve. Walk as much as you can with your walker, crutches or cane. I prefer you not discard the cane until I see you in my office, 6 weeks after surgery.

If you have staples, they can be removed in rehabilitation or make an appointment with my office to remove them 2 weeks after surgery.
